Matteo Caddedu is an acclaimed international mixologist and the Head Bar Manager of Opium Bar in Bangkok, celebrated for his innovative approach to crafting cocktails.

Originally from the island of Corsica in Italy, Caddedu has honed his skills in Thailand, bringing his signature blend of global experience and regional influences to the vibrant Southeast Asian bar scene. 

Known for his curiosity and passion for unique flavor combinations, Caddedu specializes in creating complex, yet balanced drinks that tell a story. His philosophy centers on maximizing sustainability by utilizing local and seasonal Thai ingredients, infusing traditional spirits with a contemporary, creative sensibility to redefine the modern cocktail experience. 

For Asian Sensation BKK 2025, Matteo Caddedu will design and craft the exclusive cocktail pairing menu for Chef Pam’s tasting experience at Opium Bar.
